History of the Clinic

There has been an orthotropic clinic in Purley for nearly 40 years. The clinic was initially set up by Dr Mike Mew’s father Professor John Mew when he relocated his London clinic out of central London, Wimpole Street. His son Dr Mike Mew took over the clinic in 2014. Since 2014 Dr Mew has been working to further develop both the clinic and the treatment therapy itself. He has established a teaching and research side to the clinic, The London School of Facial Orthotropics, more information about this can be found at www.lsfo.co.uk.
